Hemingford Peace Memorial Field 70th Anniversary Party 12th June

The playing field was gifted by Colonel Stewart Dewes Hayward to the villages of Hemingford Grey and Hemingford Abbots in 1946 to celebrate the peace that followed WW11 and it seems appropriate to recognise this significant anniversary by holding a BIG PARTY.

This will be the biggest event held on the playing fields since it was opened in 1949

Te Hemingford Regatta Committee have kindly allowed us to use the marquee that will be on the playing field for the Regatta Ball for this event and  there are many activities taking place from music and dancing to a mini pentathlon and bowls and squash taster sessions.

The list of what is happening on the day is too long to list  so why not click here for details of all the days activities.

Come along and join in our celebrations and have a great day out
